What Mandarin Chinese classes can we offer your family?
Ni Hao Children’s Community provide a fun and active “learning by doing” experience for your family. Our Mandarin Chinese( Huáyǔ 华语/華語, Guóyǔ 國語, Pǔtōnghuà 普通话) classes are group based sessions as we value the dynamics and interaction between the children and believe that having family involved in a positive way assists the child’s learning.
Classes are categorised into three different age levels:
For ages 6 months (sitting up independently) to 3 years old.
These are 30 minutes long and each child must be accompanied by their parent/caregiver. The parent/caregiver is expected to actively participate and be involved in the class, as well as provide support for their child’s learning experience. Read more about the Toddlers classes…
For ages 2 to 6 years old.
Preschoolers have a 45 minute session and each child must be accompanied by their parent/caregiver. The parent/caregiver is expected to actively participate in vocabulary actions and class games, song and dance, as well as provide support for their child’s learning experience. For ages 5 to 12 years old (however, it is recommended that children remain in the Preschoolers class until they are nearly 6 years old).
Kids have a 45 minute session and children can be dropped off to class and picked up after by a pre-authorised adult. Parents/caregivers are welcome to be part of class and learn together with the group. Parents/caregivers may sometimes be asked by the teacher to be involved as part of the class as “extra actors” or “props”too! Read more about the Kids classes…
