Class enrolments are subject to class size limits and other Terms and conditions. Please note that we are trying to move towards long term enrolments in the future so that we can plan in advance for your children and keep groups of children who start together in the same language level through the year.
We are a not-for-profit community organisation and your prompt fee payments are greatly appreciated. We are a registered charity which accepts donations outside of these fees in order to keep our services accessible and help to cover the programme development and resources. All donations are tax deductible.
We would like families to look at continuing enrolment for a full year so that we can plan in advance for your children and keep groups of children who start together in the same language level through the year.
A one-off registration fee of $25 per new individual or $40 per new family. There is no fee for a child returning from previous terms of the same year or following directly from the end of the previous year.
Our class terms follow a four term primary school year and are based on a 8-10 week term. However, the fees are charged equally for each term and this evens out over the school year. Classes are not held on public holidays.

Babies / 6 to 18 month olds / 30 minutes class: $80 per term.
Preschoolers / 1.5 – 6 years / 45 minute class: $135 per term.
Kids/Intermediate / 5-12 years / 50 minute class: $150 per term.
Multiple Bookings Discount (Siblings or Additional Classes): +$120 per term. Please contact us if you are going to enrol siblings and or make multiple bookings (e.g. attending class more than once a week). A credit will be applied to your account.
Parents: Parents are always able to attend their child’s class free of charge 🙂
Scholarships: These are available by application, for Community Services Card holders and those who are financially constrained. Please apply online here. In 2017, there are ten scholarships available for the Preschoolers level and eight scholarships for the Kids Beginner Year 1 to year 8 level. Children/families are expected to commit to attending a full year of classes. Textbooks will also be provided to the Year 1 to 8 free of charge as part of the scholarship.
REQUESTED SCHOOL DONATION (TAX DEDUCTIBLE)
$25 per school year per child. This contributes towards some of the charity’s overheads (accountant, insurance, website & online costs, Xero, mobile prepaid credits, printing/stationery, PO Box). In full: Direct credit / bank transfer payment in full either by the first week of classes or on the due date of the the invoice.

ENROLMENT TERMS & CONDITIONS
Enrolment is carried out online and your confirmation and invoice will be emailed to you. If you have not received anything from us after 5 working days, please do contact us!
Please contact us as soon as possible if your contact details change or the authorised pick up adults have changed.
Withdrawals & Refunds:
To withdraw from classes a parent must give 4 weeks advance notice in writing via email to enable us to offer the space to another student and adjust accounts. Term fees are non-refundable, except in special circumstances. This is because the teachers would have already been contracted and committed to the time involved and need to be paid.
Classes are held as per the schedule published on our website. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel your enrolment due to e.g. class size limits or lack of numbers. In the event of a cancellation by us prior to the term classes beginning, we will give you a refund for all classes you have paid for.
Behaviour & Respect and Care of Venues:
We ask that children are considerate and respectable of their classmates and the teacher. Children and parents will be held responsible for their children’s behaviour in class venues and liable for any damage caused. Please let the children know to take care with the venues as we are guests there.
Class Substitutions & Cancellations:
We reserve the right to cancel classes and/or to provide a suitable relief teacher.
Attendance & Missed Classes:
Please inform the school office or teacher of absences. No classes will be refunded for illness or non-attendance. Make up lessons at other classes during the week may be arranged via the office, but make up availability is subject to class size limits.
Please make us aware of your child’s health conditions and allergies during the enrolment process. If a non-accompanied child requires urgent medical attention, we will arrange this at the expense of the child’s parent/caregiver.
All Term Fees are stated in New Zealand dollars. Term Fees are paid for in advance for a full term or a partial term if your child begins class part-way through a term. The registration fee is a one-off non-refundable charge. There is no registration fee for returning students.
Payments overdue by more than seven days attract a 10% penalty, but please do contact us ahead of time if you think this may occur. If payment is not received as arranged, we reserve the right to cancel the child’s enrolment and families will be liable for collection costs incurred for unpaid accounts.
