Families wishing to enrol must try a class before enrolling. This is so that you and your child can test things before committing and so we can better understand what you are looking for and have an opportunity to discuss suitability and options.

Prep enrolments (new programme for 2019)
Enrolments are for a full school year. Families wishing to miss one term during the year will be required to pay a term holding fee. During the family’s absence, lesson resources and support will continue to be provided and it is expected that families will help their child continue the language somehow so that they don’t lose what they have already learnt or fall behind their class.
School Aged enrolments
From 2019, enrolments are for a full school year. Families wishing to miss one term during the year will be required to pay a term holding fee. During the family’s absence, lesson resources and support will continue to be provided and it is expected that families will help their child continue the language somehow so that they don’t lose what they have already learnt or fall behind their class.
For new students starting Level 1 in Term 3 or Term 4, 2018: They may join Level 1, but will be expected to re-enrol in Level 1 for 2019.
For new students starting Level 1 in Term 2, 2019: A school holiday 4-day workshop will be offered in the April school holidays to provide a Term 1 intensive catch up in a fun way. If that is not possible to attend, the child will be assessed at the end of the year to see if they will need to repeat Level 1.
For new students starting Level 1 in Term 3 or Term 4, 2019: They may join Level 1, but will be expected to re-enrol in Level 1 for 2020.
Moving from Level 1 to Level 2 / Level 2 to 3: This will be based on the class teacher’s opinion, considering the child’s language progress and the term reports. Children missing more than one term during the year will most likely have to repeat the same level the following year.
Terms & Conditions
Enrolments are subject to class size limits and Terms and conditions.
Enrolment is carried out online and your confirmation and invoice will be emailed to you. If you have not received anything from us after 5 working days, please do contact us! Please contact us as soon as possible if your contact details change or the authorised pick up adults have changed.
Withdrawals & Refunds:
To withdraw from the programme, a parent must give 4 weeks advance notice in writing via email to enable us to offer the space to another student and adjust accounts. Term fees during the 4 week notice period are non-refundable (except in special circumstances) as we are non-profit and as teachers would have already been contracted and committed to the time involved and need to be paid.
Classes are held as per the schedule published on our website. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel your enrolment due to e.g. class size limits or lack of numbers. In the event of a cancellation by us prior to the term classes beginning, we will give you a refund for all classes you have paid for.
Behaviour & Respect and Care of Venues:
We ask that children are considerate and respectable of their classmates and the teacher. Children and parents will be held responsible for their children’s behaviour in class venues and liable for any damage caused. Please let the children know to take care with the venues as we are guests there.
Class Substitutions & Cancellations:
We reserve the right to cancel classes and/or to provide a suitable relief teacher.
Attendance & Missed Classes:
Please inform the school office or teacher of absences. No classes will be refunded for illness or non-attendance. Make up lessons at other classes during the week may be arranged via the office if available, but make up availability is subject to class size limits.
Please disclose your child’s health conditions and allergies during the enrolment process. If a non-accompanied child requires urgent medical attention, we will arrange this at the expense of the child’s parent/caregiver.
All Term Fees are stated in New Zealand dollars. Term Fees are paid for in advance for a full term or a partial term if your child is a new student and begins class part-way through a term. Term fees are non-refundable, as we are non-profit and calculate costs based on numbers.
The registration fee is a one-off non-refundable charge. There is no registration fee for returning students.
