Tang Yuan Workshop, 20 and 21 October 2017

NZ Chinese Language Week is 16-22 October this year, so we are running extra activities that week and making Tang Yuan (colourful glutinous rice sweet dumplings, some filled with paste – only natural food colourings will be used).

Friday 20 October, 9:15-10:45am
For families with under 5s: Tangyuan workshop and Stories & Rhymes session, $5 per person. Register for Tang Yuan Workshop with Stories & Rhymes
Saturday 21 October, 10:30-11:30am
For ages 6 to 13, and ages 3 to 5 with accompanying adult. Currently enrolled students: Gold coin per person. General public $5 per person.

Exciting news! We’ll be providing free Stories&Rhymes sessions at various Wellington City Libraries during New Zealand Chinese Language Week 2016!

The sessions are similar to the usual library Preschooler Storytimes and Baby Rock n Rhymes, but just in Mandarin Chinese! An easy and fun introduction to the language
