Reviewing vocabularies from week 4 ( pet and bedroom vocabularies)

大象

elephant 大象 dà xiàng

(Action: crossing two arms and using one hand to hold nose)

猴子

monkey 猴子 hóu zi

(Action: scratching body and pronoucing like a monkey)

熊猫

panda 熊猫 xióng māo

(Action: using two hands to circle eyes)

狮子

lion 狮子 shī zi

(Action: puting two hands beside the shoulder and pretending to scream like a lion)

老虎

tiger 老虎 lǎo hǔ

(Action: puting two hands beside the face and pretending to scream like a tiger)

长颈鹿

giraffe 长颈鹿 cháng jǐn lù

(Action: stretching neck)

bear 熊 xióng

(Action: puting two hands on the top of head and walking like a bear)

snake 蛇 shé

(Action: waving one arm and pronoucing “si~si~”)


Phrases

In the bedroom, what can you see? In the bedroom, I can see…在卧室里, 你能看见什么?在卧室里,我能看见… zài wò shì lǐ , nǐ néng kàn jiàn shén me? zài wò shì lǐ,wǒ néng kàn jiàn …

e.g., in the bedroom, I can see (a) dog is sleeping on the bed在卧室里, 我能看见(一只)狗 在床上睡觉 zài wò shì lǐ,wǒ néng kàn jiàn (yì zhī) gǒu zài chuáng shàng shuì jiào

2. 我喜欢…/ 我不喜欢…

I like …/ I dislike…我喜欢…/ 我不喜欢… wǒ xǐ huān…/wǒ bù xǐ huān…

e.g., I like (a) pink elephant我喜欢(一只)粉红色的大象 wǒ xǐ huān(yì zhī) fěn hóng sè de dà xiàng.

3. 我是…

I am…我是… wǒ shì…

e.g., I am (an) elephant 我是(一只)大象 wǒ shì (yì zhī) dà xiàng
