Chien-Chi Lin 林千琦
Chien-Chi teaches on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. Chien-Chi is originally from Taipei, Taiwan. She has spent a number of years in Australia and has been living in New Zealand for one and half years. She has been an EAL (English as Additional Language) teacher for three years in Taiwan. She gained her Graduate Diploma in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) at Waikato Institute of Technology in 2015. She has participated in a variety of local communities — she was part of a Tongan Student Support and facilitated the English Corner at Waikato Institute of Technology. With her strong TESOL background, she sees MSOL as a mission of not only to pass on the language but also the culture to the future generation. Chien-Chi is like Energizer Bunny — she enjoys teaching as putting herself into students’ shoes and having fun as well as being excited about learning with the students!
