Lizzie is the charity’s core teacher on staff, working Tuesdays to Saturdays. She has been developing the lesson plans and class materials alongside Li Ling. She also helps other teachers prepare for classes.
She has a Bachelor in Education specialising in early childhood from China, and recently completed her Masters of Education at Victoria University of Wellington.
Lizzie teaches all the Toddler and Preschoolers classes throughout the week, and the Kids age classes held at Northland Memorial Community Centre, Berhampore School, Island Bay School, Wadestown School (Thursdays) and Saturday afternoons in the City.
Xue (similar to pronouncing the English word “share”) is our part-time teacher, who currently works in the Kids area. She teaches the Whitby class, Wadestown School (Wednesdays) class and the Saturday morning class in the City. Outside of work, she’s a busy Mum to two young boys.
