A new face in the team!

We’d like to warmly welcome Haoyu to the Ni Hao Children’s Community team! She will be helping here and there with programme/curriculum and teaching, and has a great language teaching background. Li Ling is very happy to have her start 🙂

She is an English language teacher by profession, though she has had a stint at St. Mark’s Church School teaching their Mandarin AIM language programme a while ago.

She is also teaching English to students at the New Zealand School of Dance once a week, while being a full-time Mum to a young (and very cute) baby 🙂

Haoyu (Alice) Hsu 許皓宇 xǔ hào yǔ | Teacher (part-time)

haoyuHaoyu is originally from Taipei, Taiwan. She is a passionate language teacher who believes language learning should be fun and communicative. She holds a Master’s degree in TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) from Michigan State University in the United Sates. She has been living in New Zealand for three years. Now being a full-time mum, she enjoys spending time with children and watch them learn and grow. Her favorite food is bubble tea, which is invented in Taiwan. In her free time, she likes to watch movies, go shopping , and cook—Chinese food!
