Here’s the list of the vocabulary and phrases we’re learning for the first four weeks of Term 2 🙂

Kids

Weeks 1 & 2:

Hello  你好 nǐ hǎo
Goodbye 再见 zài jiàn
How are you? 你好 nǐ hǎo ma
I am fine 我很好 wǒ hěn hǎo
Thank you 谢谢 xiè xiè
You’re welcome 不客气 bú kè qì
Good morning 早上好 zǎo shàng hǎo
Good night 晚安wǎn ān
Sorry 不起 duì bù qǐ
Never mind 没关系 méi guān xì
My name is (I’m called) 我叫 wǒ jiào
Dad 爸爸 bà ba
Mum 妈妈 mā mā
Teacher lăo shī

I’m… 我是… wǒ shì
He/She is… /她是…tā shì
His/her name is (He/ she is called …) /她叫… tā jiào
What is your name? 你叫什么名字? nĭ jiào shén me míng zì?
How old are you?你几? nǐ jǐ suì?
I’m…old.wǒ…(number) suì

The following two words can be used in general, but to be specific, they refer to the father’s side of the family:
Grandpa  爷爷 yé ye
Grandma 奶奶 nǎi nai,

6  六 liù
7  七  qī
8  八  bā
9  九  jiǔ
10  十 shí
